Memetria Acceptable Use Policy

When using Memetria's Services, you must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which includes some restrictions related to authenticity, intellectual property, service limits, and other restrictions.

This policy is available at https://www.memetria.com/acceptable_use.html, and is updated from time to time. By using the Services or accessing the Memetria Site, you agree to the latest version of this Acceptable Use Policy.

Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Acceptable Use Policy have the meanings assigned to them in our Terms of Service.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

You are responsible for using the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not use Memetria

(a) for any unlawful, invasive, infringing, defamatory, or fraudulent purpose

(b) to violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others;

(c) to promote or encourage illegal activity

(d) to violate the security or integrity of any computer, network, or communication system

(e) to propagate or enable viruses, malware, spam, or malicious code

2. Authenticity

(a) Memetria does not permit inauthentic user accounts. The email address you use with the Services must be a valid one tied to your identity, suitable for communicating information about the Service. Accounts using anonymizers or "throwaway" email addresses are not permitted. Please see our Privacy Policy if you have concerns about the use of your email address in your Memetria account.

(b) You may use multiple accounts to associate your identity (as an individual) with multiple Memetria Customers.

(c) You may not use multiple accounts to extend free trial time or otherwise abuse per-account affordances provided by Memetria as part of the Services.

(d) You may not use Memetria's Team Invitation system to contact anyone other than colleagues and coworkers who are expecting to collaborate with you on Memetria's platform.

3. Intellectual Property

You may not use the Service to:

(a) sell, resell, trade, rent, or otherwise distribute any portion of the Services for any unauthorized commercial purpose,

(b) access any portion of the Services for the purpose of building, improving or marketing a similar or competitive product or service,

(c) copy, modify, translate, or create a derivative work of any Memetria IP,

(d) reverse engineer, reverse assemble, disassemble, or decompile any software used in the Services, or otherwise attempt to discover any source code, except as otherwise permitted under applicable law,

(e) alter, remove or violate any copyright, trademark, patent, or other proprietary notice appearing in connection with the Services, or

(f) infringe on the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of any other third party.

4. Quotas and Limits

Memetria's Services include certain soft and hard limits on usage, for constraints including memory, compute, and bandwidth. These limits are enforced at a range of levels: per-database, per-Customer, per-Service, per-region, and so forth.

(a) You may not abuse the soft limits of Memetria or its integrations with third parties to attempt to gain free Services beyond what is offered as part of your Agreement.

(b) You may not use Memetria's systems to mine or demonstrate proof-of-work for a cryptocurrency or a blockchain.

5. Other Prohibited Actions

You may not use Memetria:

(a) in a manner that would interfere with or be disruptive to other users

(b) to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or any of Memetria's administrative, vendor, supplier, or partner's related systems or networks.
